This morning I woke up and the air was fresh and crisp…and I said to myself, its TIME! Its time to bust out the pumpkin!! My kids and husband get a little tired of my pumpkin obsession that starts when the air gets crisp and ends…when I’ve exhausted all the recipes that I know! Pumpkin Muffins, Pumpkin Bread, Pumpkin Cookies!! The list goes on and on! This is only the beginning!!! When I buy cans of pumpkin in bulk, my kids start to roll their eyes. 🙂
One of the things that I love about this Pumpkin Spice Creamer is that I know there is REAL pumpkin in it! Why not make your own….if its quick and easy, the additional nutrients are definitely worth it!.
Pumpkin is a powerhouse of vitamins and I like to squeeze those kinds of foods in my everyday life.
Benefits of Pumpkin-
- Super High in Vitamin A
- High in Vitamin C and Vitamin E
- Rich in Copper, calcium, potassium and phosphorus
I whipped up a batch of pumpkin spice creamer this morning and I have to say, its pretty darn tasty and fallish! I have read some recipes for pumpkin creamer that cook and strain it, and I have to say that I’m just too impatient for that! This creamer is a little thick, but it super yum and if it is too thick for you, thin it out with a bit more Half & Half.
Now, go get yourself a good book, some comfy socks and make yourself some pumpkin spice creamer that

Fat:
- ¾ Can of Pumpkin Puree
- 2 Cups Half & Half
- ½ Cup Local Honey or Sweetener of your choice
- 1-2 TBSP Cinnamon
- 1 TBSP Nutmeg
- Put all ingredients in the blender. I use a small mouth mason jar and then screw the blender blades on the top, flip over the jar and blend.
This is my trick to make this creamer super fast (and save on another dish to wash!). Put the blender blades right on the mason jar and blend!
