So as I have said lately, I’m in full 3rd trimester nesting mode! I have been purging, cleaning, organizing and diy-ing like most 3rd trimester mama’s to be do around this time! This morning I did some virtual nesting while drinking down my coffee (my 1.5 cup allotment for the day). Have you guys ever been to Polyvore??? It’s so fun! It’s almost as fun as shopping…without the expense! I liken it to pinterest, but you can pin just one thing in a photo at a time, to build a whole inspiration board! It’s really fun!!
We are in the beginning stages of putting our little lumberjack’s nursery together and I loved being able to put all of this fun home decor stuff together on one page! It gives me a great idea of what to look for as I’m stopping at yard sales, thrift stores and gathering stuff from my own home! I all ready have a red camping lamp and a white crib, so I have a few items on my list! I’m also planning on making a buffalo plaid quilt blanket…so keep your eyes posted for that post coming up in the next few months!
Some of the other things we have planned for our Lumberjack Nursery is painting the walls light grey (from a nasty pea green color! ) and creating some rustic pallet wood shelving for storing books and other little items. It should be a fun adventure!

Of course, I will be doing my own DIY versions of all of these amazing Lumberjack nursery items. I’m certainly not paying $500 for a dresser! I plan on picking one up at the thrift store and chalkpainting it, of course! This just gives me some ideas and inspiration!
