We all have favorite tools in the kitchen. Tools that save us time and money.
1. Crock Pot –
I wish the crock pot had a different name. Slow cooker is just as bad. Its not a crock and it saves so much time that it should be called a set it and forget it. 🙂 I use my crock pot about once every 1-2 weeks. Its like having a personal chef that is all ready paid for!!
2. Kitchen Aid Mixer
My parents bought me one of these for christmas in our first year of marriage! I have used it weekly or more for the last 13 years (I also dropped it once and its still going strong!!). I’ve used this for cakes, breads, cookies and I tossed my hand mixer because I never used it anymore!
One of my favorite things we make with this mixer is home made frosting!
3. Bread Machine | Bread Maker
I have been so obsessed with my bread machine lately. Really Really really obsessed! This thing is like having another sous chef in the kitchen….and do you know how amazing a house smells when you bake a loaf of bread??? Pretty darn amazing! My kids are all about fresh baked bread, I’ve actually even heard them talk about it to their little buds….big deal in mom’s land. The best thing is, you literally just throw the ingredients in and then the machine does its magic! Its pretty amazing and I think everyone should have one! You
4. Ice Cream Maker
I bought one of these a few years ago when I wanted to start making my own ice cream! Home made ice cream is the only way to go! No fillers or junk in it, just old fashioned milk, cream, sugar, vanilla and a pinch of salt. Throw your ingredients in this baby and you have impressive ice cream fit for a king…but more importantly, fit for your family! I love trying new recipes, but my favorite is plain vanilla, only because its so easy, simple and delish! I keep the inner cold container in the freezer ready for use, since it takes 24 for the inner part to get cold enough to make ice cream. You never know when you’re going to get the urge!
What are your favorite kitchen tools that you can’t live without?? I would love to hear about them!
